        • Frequently Asked Questions
          What are the differences between online and blended learning?

          In some cases courses require a practical element that cannot be delivered through online training, thus this type of training is called ‘Blended’ – The learner would complete part of the course (usually the more theoretical component), online in advance of the practical component that would be completed in the classroom.

          Online training enables the learner to complete the entire course online and does not require a practical element.

          How do I book and pay for a course?

          When selecting a course for yourself or your workplace. Click the ENQUIRY tab, this will put your enquiry directly through to us. We will then contact you via email or telephone to discuss your requirements and explain costs and payment plans. (most one day courses start from £400).

          Some of the online courses, such as First Aid for Parents, Safeguarding, Food Safety levels 2 and 3, etc, you can select and pay through our Paypal page without contacting us in advance.

          Are your courses accredited and regulated?

          Yes! All of our courses are accredited and most are regulated (First Aid, Fire Safety and Food Safety) through National Awarding organisations such as Qualsafe Awards for which we are an approved training centre. We are also approved to deliver First Aid for Mental Health courses through National Awarding organisation Nuco.

          However, some times where the client specifically requests something more bespoke, courses can be ‘self certified’ and thus unaccredited. This DOES NOT change the quality of the training.

          Are you trainers DBS checked and insured?

          Yes! Although we use in most cases associate trainers, all are vetted prior to delivering our courses. As a basic requirement all trainers must have a current (clean) DBS certificate, up to date liability insurance, Training certificate such as Cert.Ed, PGCE, PTTLLS 3 or equivalent. The trainer must also evidence their knowledge in the subject matter that they are delivering, in some cases this requires the trainer to have a level of certification above that they are delivering or as in most cases the trainer has a working knowledge of the subject. For example Fire Safety courses are delivered by current or retired Fire service members or First Aid courses being delivered by medical practitioners such as Paramedics or Nurses.
