Forestry First Aid +F [QA Level 3 - RQF]

The QA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry , agriculture or remote environment, such as forestry, agriculture or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers

With all subjects covered in just 3 hours, successful learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments such as Lyme disease and Catastrophic bleeding!

Designed to accompany a regulated First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, this nationally recognised qualification has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.

The syllabus includes:

  • Extreme Cold
  • Extreme Heat
  • Treatment of Adder Snake Bites
  • Catastrophic bleeding, including: Direct Pressure, Tourniquets and Haemostatic agents
  • Crush Injuries
  • Lyme Disease

We can attend and conduct a course in your work place. This proves popular in some workplaces so as to minimise disruption to the workforce. The cost of this course for up to 12 candidates is £350.00. This includes certification and a manual for each student.

All work taken, outside of the M25 will have an additional £30 travel fee included to the overall invoice
