Joanne Jefferies

Joanne has been involved with First Aid for approximately 24 years, having worked in such diverse settings as building sites and convention centres – some of which have up to 15,000 people in attendance.

She reluctantly left her career as a Primary School teacher due to family circumstances, but decided to combine her love of teaching and passion for first aid to become a qualified trainer, covering formal qualifications of First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid, Sports First Aid, Safe use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and Manual Handling (objects) as well as devising bespoke courses on request.

She has written her own programme for children of KS1 and Ks2 age to progressively build their first aid skills and is currently working to become a Community First Responder.
